Average gasoline prices in Chattanooga have risen 17.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.76/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 170 stations in Chattanooga.
Prices in Chattanooga are 39.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 99.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Chattanooga was priced at $3.49/g yesterday while the most expensive was $4.39/g, a difference of 90.0 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $3.26/g while the highest was $4.89/g, a difference of $1.63/g.
“Average gasoline prices rose in nearly three out of five states over the last week, while diesel surged in every state — with some climbing nearly 50 cents per gallon in just seven days.
