Gas prices in Wilmington took a sharp turn upward last week, soaring over 22 cents to hit an average of $4.15 per gallon.
That leaves local drivers paying nearly 18 cents more than last month and a full dollar more than this time last year, with statewide prices ranging between $3.84 and $4.19.
