NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Fired New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) officers could have a tougher time being hired as officers at new departments after Fox 8 questioned NOPD’s reporting procedures.
Going forward, the department vowed to explain to a state oversight council why it fired the officers and request their state certification be reviewed, if necessary.
That review could lead to the officers being decertified, and prevented from working at another Louisiana law enforcement agency…
