ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The Rockford City Council is set to address an $8 million engineering agreement Tuesday evening for the proposed replacement of the 15th Avenue Bridge, part of an estimated $24 million project.
The 15th Avenue Bridge is nearly 100 years old and city engineers have reported noticeable deterioration on the structure. The full replacement project is expected to take two years to complete.
