A 20,000-square-foot bookstore is set to open this week in San Antonio, Texas, as part of Barnes & Noble’s growing national footprint.
The company announced on Sept. 2 that the new store — located at Huebner Oaks — will open Sept. 9 as San Antonio’s sixth location.
“We are very pleased to add to our bookstores in the Lone Star State,” said James Daunt, CEO of Barnes & Noble. “The rejuvenation of our business over the last few years has been especially marked in Texas where we have opened – or are about to open – over 20 new bookstores.”…
