Showcasing new and pre-owned inventory, the annual Big Thunder Marine Fall In-Water Boat Show returns September 25-27 to the Lake of the Ozarks—but with a new charitable element dubbed “Every Boat Gives Back” and more. For every boat sold by the multi-brand, multi-location dealership at the Central Missouri waterway through September 26, the company will donate $300 to the Phylicia Carson 916 Foundation.
An officer in the Osage Beach Police Department, Carson died on August 31, 2024, in an automobile accident during a high-speed pursuit. Big Thunder Marine launched its Every Boat Gives Back fundraising campaign in her honor on August 5.
“We’re also tying in our Big Thunder Gives Back event on Saturday, September 26 with a private dinner benefiting the Phylicia Carson 916 Foundation,” explained Sage Rush, Big Thunder Marine’s marketing coordinator. “Tickets are $50 and sponsorships are available—and 100 percent of ticket sales and sponsorship dollars go directly to the Foundation.”
The dinner will be held in the Anchor Room at the Ozark Yacht Club, the host-venue for the Fall-In-Water Boat Show, in Lake Ozark.
