KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — A 21-year-old Eugene man was killed Saturday night in a head-on crash on Highway 97 in Klamath County, according to Oregon State Police.
OSP said troopers responded at about 8:50 p.m., Sept. 5, to a two-vehicle fatal crash near milepost 200. Investigators said a black Honda two-door sedan driven by Elias Keyin Sorenson, 21, was traveling northbound when, for unknown reasons, it crossed into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a white Volvo semi-truck hauling a 53-foot trailer.
