COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A hunter caught an 8-foot, 6-inch alligator over the weekend at Clarks Hill Lake, an area where alligators are rarely found.
Tony Trobaugh made the catch near the Keg Creek area of the lake. It was his first alligator he’s caught.
Trobaugh said the alligator had been seen around the lake and gained attention on social media because alligators are rarely found there…
