In a Sept. 9 Facebook post, ODOT released information about two additional closures, both starting Sept. 14:

  • I-90 eastbound ramp to Alger Rd./Warren Rd
    • Closed through November
    • Drivers will detour at McKinley Ave.
  • McKinley Ave. to I-90 East
    • Closed through October
    • Drivers will detour at S. Marginal Dr. to the Warren Rd. entrance ramp

The newly-announced closures add to an already stressful construction season along I-90 eastbound as an ongoing I-90 Major Rehabilitation Project stretches through Rocky River, Lakewood, and Cleveland with narrowed and shifting lanes. The project is not expected to be complete until fall of 2028.
