Firefighters from across the region gathered in North East Tuesday for a hands-on training event.
Fuller Hose Co. No. 1 hosted the Flow Event, organized by Snap-Tite Hose and Grit Fire Training. The event brought firefighters from more than a dozen departments together for drills designed to help them improve hose handling and water flow during emergency situations.
“We were approached by Snap-Tite and GRIT Fire Training to host what they call a Flow Event,” said Chris Skrekla, captain of Fuller Hose Co. No. 1. “It’s no secret, obviously, we use water to put out house fires.”…
