HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Henderson City Commissioners are taking a closer look at whether golf carts should be allowed on city roads.
They met Tuesday to talk through the idea, which is still in the early stages. However, leaders say any approval would come with strict safety guidelines.
The basics include four wheels, seatbelts, mirrors and turn signals, essentially everything a standard vehicle must have. There are also additional limits. carts cannot exceed 35 mph, cannot cross busy intersections and must weigh under 2,500 lbs…
