HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — With school back in session and youth sports heating up, Tanger Outlets is starting up a new initiative aimed at recycling sneakers.
The shopping center’s Hershey location announced Tuesday that it is partnering with Sneaker Impact, a sustainable footwear recycling company, to help repurpose used footwear into “raw materials for future soft-play surfaces at Tanger Hershey and throughout the community.”
Guests will be able to drop off their shoe donations on Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 19, between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. next to Old Navy…
