ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — The City of Graham is receiving $15.8 million from FEMA for the purpose of repairing the Graham-Mebane Spillway.
The spillway was damaged due to the impacts of Tropical Storm Chantal, which devastated Alamance County in July 2025.
Graham–Mebane Water Treatment Plant was submerged under six feet of water as a result of flooding caused by Chantal.
