Chambersburg 19, Carlisle 36; Chambersburg 27, Mifflin County 30: Natalie Quinn and Lilly Spohn finished 1-2 to lead the Trojans to double-dual meet wins over the Thundering Herd and the Huskies on Tuesday afternoon in a Mid Penn Commonwealth event at Carlisle.
“We were happy to get two wins today,” Chambersburg coach Chris Monheim said. “Mifflin County gave us quite a battle, but it really helped having both Natalie and Lilly finish in front of their No. 1 runner.
“We had a couple of varsity girls who were definitely not feeling their best today, but we had a few others who showed up in a big way. Our depth was definitely on display today.”…
