NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Nicholasville residents are pushing back against a plan to rezone five acres of land in Jessamine County, calling the potential development an “eyesore.”
The property along Scott Road is currently zoned for agricultural use. The proposal seeks to rezone the property to industrial.

Neighbors fear the change could bring more noise, hurt property values, and alter the character of the community.
“When something comes in, whether it be a multi-housing complex, industry, whatever, and you’re changing agriculture to accommodate that, you need to take into account what it’s doing to all the neighbors.
