GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — Wisconsin lawmakers, MAAD, and local law enforcement teamed up in Green Bay on September 8 to test out a new device that will hopefully prevent drunk driving deaths.

Ignition Interlock Devices require drivers to pass a breath test before they can start their vehicle, preventing anyone over the legal limit from getting behind the wheel.
The demonstration allowed individuals to try the new technology and understand how it works.
“If we can stop anybody from getting in the car and driving while under the influence, it would save lives,” said Dana Erickson, a MADD representative…
