Arkansas voters will decide in November whether to expand language in the state constitution protecting the right to keep and bear arms.
Issue 2 would amend Article 2, Section 5 of the Arkansas Constitution to state that Arkansas citizens have the right to keep and bear arms for their common defense, lawful hunting and recreational use, and any other lawful purpose.
Currently that section of the constitution states, “The citizens of this State shall have the right to keep and bear arms, for their common defense.”…
