SantaCaliGon Days vendors await possible opportunity to recover lost revenue during storm

INDEPENDANCE, Mo. — On Tuesday, vendors impacted by severe weather that swept through the SantaCaliGon Days Festival Sunday night say they are still waiting to learn whether organizers will offer a refund or a make-up day after the event was cut short.

Strong winds moved through Independence during the festival, forcing vendors to quickly pack up their booths and leave within minutes.
