Aurora, Ill. (Sept. 8, 2026) – Competing against a strong group at the Aurora Double Gun, the North Central Cardinals men’s golf team placed 16th in a field of 19 teams at the Aurora Country Club.
The Cardinals shot a 634 as a team, playing 36 holes in one day and were led by Joe Luchtenburg who shot a 154 (+10) on Tuesday, birdied seven times, and tied for 31st with the field. Senior Jake Delaney trailed Luchtenburg and tied for 36th with the field, shooting a 155 (+11) on the day. Ryan Lother and Lundaa Hayanhirvaa were the final two spots for the Cardinals, with Lother shooting a 161 (+17) and Hayanhirvaa shooting a 166 (+22) for the event.
