JANESVILLE — Rock County Supervisors discussed five proposed resolutions addressing data centers at a meeting of the Staff Committee Tuesday, including a proposal to create a 13-member county advisory committee and several measures governing nondisclosure agreements and county staff involvement in data center development.
In a 6-3 vote, the staff committee recommended approval to the Rock County Board to establish an advisory committee and develop an NDA policy that would help outline when and where an NDA is best used that doesn’t interfere with economic development.
