Lake Erie Literary Festival Announces Location Change

The Lake Erie Literary Festival announced a location change for the 2026 event. The event was originally going to held at Frontier Park however due to the recent storm damage at the park the event will now be held at McClelland Park located at 2600 E. 26th Street in Erie.

The event will be held on September 12 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public of all ages. Werner Books and Coffee and the Erie Art Company will present the festival which aims to celebrate the written word and human creativity throughout genres.

Those who attend will be able to enjoy over 25 local and regional authors signing books, indie booksellers, and artisanal vendors. Live performances will be held including poetry readings, spoken word, and musical performances on the main stage…
