GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Nearly two years after Hurricane Helene devastated the Carolinas, the Federal Emergency Management Agency is sending more than $33 million to South Carolina to fund ongoing recovery and prevention projects.
The federal funding will support eight different initiatives across the state. The largest portion—more than $30 million—is allocated to Greenville Water to repair the North Saluda and Table Rock reservoirs, which supply two-thirds of the area’s tap water.
