Nassau County received a 2026 State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Award in the category of SHIP Rehabilitation, Purchase Assistance and New Construction during the 2026 SHIP Administrators’ Roundtable at the Florida Housing Coalition’s 39th Annual Statewide Affordable Housing Conference in Orlando Aug. 26.
The SHIP Awards recognize local governments and housing programs throughout Florida that demonstrate successful and impactful approaches to addressing affordable housing needs. Nassau County was recognized for its use of SHIP funding to support housing rehabilitation, purchase assistance and new construction, helping meet a variety of housing needs within the community.
