PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A teenager will spend 30 years in prison after he beat a 58-year-old man to death before setting his body on fire in Bowie.
Tramell Holmes, who was 16 years old when the murder took place in September 2025, was convicted of second-degree murder.
Prince George’s County Executive Tara Jackson announced Tuesday, Sept. 8, that Tramell beat Coleman James Williams to death. The teenager then set Williams’s body on fire in a wooded area in Bowie.
