As the Amarillo Magic Co. approaches its first anniversary on Oct. 1, the owner, Kyle Groves, began researching dedicated magic theaters around the United States and the world.
What he found surprised him: venues devoted primarily to presenting live magic are remarkably rare.
“Even more exciting is what has happened here during our first year,” Groves said. “We’ve welcomed guests from 32 states and 12 foreign countries, and we’ve had visitors tell us they specifically traveled to Amarillo to experience the theater.”…
