PLAQUEMINE — A Plaquemine man pleaded guilty in Eighteenth Judicial District Court as a jury was being selected for his trial on drug charges stemming from an Aug. 2025 arrest.
Malcolm “Fish” Jackson, 54, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine, hydrocodone, oxycodone, Xanax and a Schedule IV controlled substance. He also pleaded guilty to transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.
According to the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jackson had been out of prison for less than two months when authorities received information that he was dealing drugs.
