Man indicted after 259 pounds of marijuana was seized at Lubbock home

LUBBOCK, Texas– A Lubbock County grand jury indicted Ryshawd Tywone Irving,38, on Tuesday after authorities reportedly seized 259 pounds of marijuana from a residence in November 2025, according to court records.

The indictment alleged Irving intentionally and knowingly possessed a usable quantity of marijuana for 50 pounds or more but less than 2,000 pounds.

According to court records, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence in the 5800 block of Emory in November 2025 and found marijuana inside the home. Authorities seized approximately 259 pounds of marijuana from the residence during the execution of the search warrant, court records stated.
