ROCKFORD, Ill (WTVO) — Rockford Police are asking members of the public to avoid the 1500 block of 14th Street.
In a post on X, Rockford Police say a large police presence is in the area in reference to reports of shots fired. Injuries or fatalities are unknown at this time.
Early photos from the scene show multiple police and sheriff’s cars present with police tape being put up.
