SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon Speed Zone Review Panel will meet Thursday to discuss speed limit changes on roads in Salem and Douglas County.
According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, the panel will consider two speed zone changes. In Salem, the city is requesting a reduction from 45 mph to 35 mph on Liberty Road S from Holder Lane SE to 450 feet south of Radiance Ave SE. In Douglas County, officials want to establish a 45 mph speed zone on Del Rio Road from 450 feet west of Brozio Road to 150 feet west of Bourbon Street.
