PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An East Valley teenager worked all summer to buy a dress for her homecoming dance. But in an unfortunate turn of events, the package was delivered to the wrong address and went missing, leaving her heartbroken.
Moved by her story, a group of Mesa police officers decided to help. Officers chipped in to replace the student’s missing dress.
They raised more than the cost of the dress, allowing them to also add shoes, earrings, a bracelet, a wallet, a coat, and a $100 gift card to get her nails done…
