HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office (ME) confirmed that a woman died from injuries following a critical hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Waipahu area on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
On Tuesday, September 8, it was confirmed that a 54-year-old woman who was involved in the collision had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.
This marks Oahu’s 27th traffic fatality this year, as compared to 62 at the same time in 2025…
