Motion will advance county sewer, Manchester Road paving projects
NEW FRANKLIN — New Franklin City Council Sept. 2 approved a pair of easement agreements with Bell Stores, 5655 Manchester Road, expected to move forward both the Summit County sanitary sewer project and a forthcoming Ohio Department of Transportation paving project on Manchester Road.
“This is something we’ve been working on diligently so we can include [that section of roadway] in the paving of [state] Route 93 at the end of the month,” said Mayor Steve Rector.
Under the agreements, Bell Stores will grant the city permanent and temporary easements on its property to allow construction of the sanitary sewer improvements. The city will pay Bell Stores $17,005 upfront for the easements, an amount Rector said Summit County will reimburse…
