HANAHAN, S.C. (WCBD) – A long-discussed vision for a town center in Hanahan is moving closer to reality as developers break ground Thursday on Blackwells Corner, a mixed-use destination planned for the former Blackwells Hardware property.
When it opens, residents can expect the project to bring new dining, shopping, and community gathering spaces to the heart of the city. Previous reports included a pizzeria, wine bar, coffee bar, and boutique already planned for the space.
Located at a site long considered one of Hanahan’s central crossroads, Blackwells Corner is designed as a walkable development featuring approximately 40,000 square feet of restaurants, retail shops, fitness studios, salons, office space and outdoor gathering areas…
