ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (WJW) – Rocky River High School will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 10, while crews clean up a mercury spill that happened in class.
The school district took to social media Wednesday evening, confirming that a vial of 0.2 to 0.5 mL of mercury broke on a table at the end of a chemistry class just after 3 p.m.
The EPA was contacted after the spill, school officials said.
