GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A Greensboro homeowner said she’s caught in a frustrating cycle of phone calls after two storm-damaged trees were left dangerously close to a power line.
Kristin Coia said the trees on her Forest Valley Road property in Greensboro were uprooted during Friday’s severe weather.

The trees are bent over and hovering just above a power line. Coia says she immediately called Duke Energy because she was worried the trees could come down on the live wires. She says she’s continued calling the utility company every day but has received conflicting information about who is responsible for removing the trees.
