Detectives sought tips from the public Wednesday that could help solve a South Los Angeles homicide from 2020.
A $50,000 reward was offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed 35-year-old Demetri Lamar Alexander, who was gunned down in a parking lot in the 3500 block of West Slauson Avenue, west of Crenshaw Boulevard, in the Park Mesa Heights neighborhood around 9:25 p.m. on Dec. 29, 2020, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
