Iconic F-14 Tomcat leaves NAS Pensacola for Colorado museum display

PENSACOLA, Fla. — An F-14 Tomcat is leaving NAS Pensacola, but it’s not flying to its new home.

Viewer Jay Penry sent WEAR News pictures on Wednesday. The disassembled plane departed NAS Pensacola at 3 a.m.

It’s being hauled about 2,500 miles to the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum in Colorado, where it will be reassembled for public display…
