Philadelphia International Airport has picked up a vacant office building next to the travel hub for $42 million, giving the airport rare room to expand as it weighs what comes next, reports Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The city’s Department of Aviation purchased the 441,000-square-foot building at 8800 Tinicum Blvd. from Office Properties Income Trust.
