Four desperate 911 calls reporting that a nurse was trying to kill a disabled hospice patient went unanswered for more than 30 minutes, exposing serious failures at a Pennsylvania nursing home, a grand jury found.
The findings were detailed in a 71-page report released following a press conference on Thursday, Sept. 10. The investigation examined resident safety at Northampton County-owned Gracedale Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth Township.
