Father charged with murder after 2-year-old found unresponsive

Police say a 2-year-old boy died after officers responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a Marietta apartment complex.

According to police, officers went to the Legacy at West Cobb Apartments at 8:36 p.m. Sept. 3 at 2665 Favor Rd. and found the boy unresponsive.

Officers gave aid and took him to Kennestone Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
