GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCSC) — A 13-year-old girl is dead, and her parents have been arrested, after an apparent fentanyl overdose claimed her life.
According to a report by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, on the morning of August 27, police responded to a home on Keyes Lane in Goose Creek in relation to a death.
They were advised that the mother of the teenager was trying to get her daughter up for school, but she wouldn’t wake up.
EMS and firefighters arrived on scene and confirmed that the girl was dead…
