Charlotte Frontier Days kicks off with week of community events

CHARLOTTE, Mich. (WLNS) — Just last night, Charlotte Frontier Days had their soft opening, kicking off the long string of events that will run until Sunday. Frontier Days started in 1970, bringing people to the town and celebrating community culture.

Since then, it’s been a constant in Charlotte and actually raises money that goes right back into the community. In fact, the exhibition hall was funded through this program.

Kim Weicht, who does the marketing for the event, says that the events take place both downtown and the fairgrounds to help out local business while still getting that western feel.
