LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKRC) — Police in Louisville say a pair of cousins are facing charges after one reportedly assaulted a person at gunpoint and stole an electric bicycle from a gas station this week, all while they had four children in their getaway van, reports WDRB/WAVE.
According to police, 45-year-old Duane Alexander and 38-year-old Dasha Watkins approached the victim at a Speedway gas station Tuesday afternoon as he was putting air in a flat tire on his e-bike. Watkins said she was “taking her bike back,” saying it had been stolen from Alexander three weeks earlier.
The confrontation turned physical, with Alexander reportedly punching the victim in the face and pointing a gun, which Watkins is accused of handing him, at the victim. The encounter was also allegedly caught on camera and showed the suspects loading the $1,200 bike into their van before driving away…
