Michigan transportation officials are preparing for a major reconstruction project in Monroe County, and residents will have an opportunity to learn more about the plans at an upcoming public meeting.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is hosting an open house Monday in Monroe to discuss the planned rebuilding of about 2.5 miles of Interstate 75. The project includes replacing the River Raisin Bridge, a key part of the highway connecting the Detroit and Toledo areas.
