PennDOT Launches Roadwork Blitz Across Four Philadelphia-Area Counties Through Late November

PennDOT has kicked off milling, paving, and utility projects on six highway corridors across Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Work started Tuesday. It will run through Saturday morning, Nov. 28, with daytime and overnight lane closures throwing a wrench into drivers’ plans.

According to mychesco.com, daytime work runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Overnight restrictions start between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., wrapping up at 5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m., depending on where you are.

In Bucks County, Route 663 will have a weekday lane closure with flagging between the Montgomery County line and Route 309. Work runs from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., starting Tuesday and going through Friday, Nov. 27. The restrictions hit Quakertown Borough along with Milford and Richland townships…
