For the second time since he was charged in August, former Baton Rouge Metro Council member LaMont Cole is asking the judge to throw out his indictment.
In a motion filed in Baton Rouge court Thursday, Cole’s attorneys say the indictment written by Attorney General Liz Murrill’s prosecutors lacks crucial specifics about the crimes he is accused of, which they argue means the charges are invalid.
