BRENHAM – The No. 8 Brenham Cubs are hoping a second Thursday night road game this week produces a repeat outcome from their first Thursday game last week.
The Cubs will travel south to Richmond to take on Tomas in another Thursday-night showdown following a comfortable road win at Georgetown East View last Thursday.
“I think the kids are ready to go,” Brenham coach Danny Youngs said on his team’s second consecutive Thursday game. “When you get as many seniors and returning lettermen like we have, practices are a grind and you got to have it. Those guys are ready to play.”…
