CASS COUNTY, Neb. (WOWT) – Cass County authorities responded to a crash early Thursday morning involving a train and a vehicle.
The call came out just before 6 a.m. near the intersection of 12th Street and Church Road, in rural Cass County, southwest of Plattsmouth.
Cass County Sheriff’s Capt. Reid Richter told First Alert 6 that when deputies arrived, they found a vehicle had collided with the train and two people in the vehicle were deceased.
It appears they were traveling in a small SUV westbound on Church Road, a narrow gravel road. The car had Texas license plates…
