The Oklahoma City firefighters who responded when a man became ill while mowing his lawn didn’t consider their work finished once he was safely in an ambulance.

In a Facebook post shared on Wednesday, Sept. 9, the Oklahoma City Fire Department said crews had recently responded to a medical call involving a man who became sick while working in his yard.

Firefighters provided care and made sure the man was safely inside an ambulance headed to the hospital. But before leaving, they noticed something he’d been forced to leave behind: a half-mowed lawn.
