Pierce County is investing $3 million in a new licensed residential facility in Tacoma.
Trouvés Health Care will own and operate the new facility at 6640 S. Alaska St., alongside its existing long-term care center, St. Ann’s. Construction is expected to begin in January 2027.
The facility looks to help reduce the need for repeated emergency-room visits, crisis services, and other temporary interventions by pairing housing with continuous personal care and access to health and behavioral health services, according to a Pierce County press release…
